The bearing assembly of the slurry pump, also known as the rotor assembly, is an important component of the transmission part of the slurry pump. It consists of a shaft, bearings, end caps, labyrinth sleeves, and labyrinth rings.
The basic part number of the slurry pump bearing assembly is 005, and it is the main component that transmits power from the drive end to the impeller. Compared to water pumps, the slurry pump bearing assembly features a larger diameter shaft and a shorter overhang, thereby minimizing deflection and vibration. The standard slurry pump bearing assembly consists of two sets of single-row tapered roller bearings installed face-to-face in a movable bearing housing. The high-capacity bearing assembly includes a set of double-row tapered roller bearings installed near the slurry pump impeller and a set or two sets of cylindrical roller bearings installed near the motor.
It is recommended to use lithium-based grease 2# or 3# for bearing lubrication. The amount of grease to be added during assembly can refer to the following table: Unit: grams
